‘Tis the Season to Go Shopping
If ever we needed an excuse to shop, Christmas delivers and whether you are a shopaholic or wish Santa would just put a gift for everybody in his sack, so you didn’t need to think, ‘tis the season to go shopping!
First and foremost, Christmas is incomplete without a Christmas tree trimmed with shiny baubles, tinsel, and decorations. You have the option of a ‘live’ tree that can be a bit tricky to find or one of the many different shapes, sizes and colours that come in a box ready to put together while playing Christmas carols.
Final touches that will really put you in the Christmas spirit are fairy lights, window decals, big, inflated Santa’s bobbing around in the front yard and don’t forget the Santa Stop Here sign.
With the tree and sparkly lights done, it’s now time to cover every possible square centimetre of floor underneath and around the tree, so let’s get ready to shop until we drop.

First Priority: Coffee ☕️
The perfect day starts with the perfect cup of freshly brewed coffee and if haven’t convinced someone to put a shiny new coffee machine under the tree for you, then use “needing to entertain your guests over the holidays” as the perfect excuse.
There are so many different brands, style of brews and price points and when you start looking just keep in mind, coffee is way more than just a drink, it’s a way of life. The secret to making the perfect brew at home is with freshly ground and roasted beans and a quality coffee machine and don’t downplay the importance of the vessel that you drink it from. So, while you’re out shopping for the machine, check out some coffee cup sets, tea sets, and coffee mugs as well.

Stocking Stuffers
If you love Christmas as much as we do, then stuffing the stocking on Christmas Eve is a highlight of the season and it doesn’t need to cost a fortune. Think items such as school lunch boxes and water bottles that they are going to need next year anyway, and how we love the amount of room a soccer ball fills when you’re getting to the top of the sack.
There are a bunch of different electronic items you can include such as Bluetooth speakers, console games and gaming headsets. Quilt cover sets, beach towels and pillows are also a very cool idea that take up heaps of space.

The pièce de résistance
There’s nothing quite a special as all gathering around the Christmas table and regardless of whether it’s a traditional lunch or a big bucket of cold prawns, setting the table can be so much fun and with a little prep, will be sure to wow your family and friends and give you an awesome feeling of satisfaction.
Traditional or casual, you need to decide on your theme and what is going to be the centrepiece of the table. This is the case for indoor or outdoor gatherings, and from there the rest will fall into place. When making your list be sure to include tableware such as serving dishes, cheese boards and platters.

Last and Certainly NOT Least
There are endless possibilities for what you can wrap up and put under the tree and some of our favourites for the kids include gaming consoles, portable Bluetooth speakers, an electric scooter, and for the smaller ones, plush toys, hooded beach towels, novelty cushions and bath toys never go astray.
Gift ideas for her include sweet-smelling candles, diffusers, candelabra, quilt sets, bedside lights, cushions and pretty much anything that gives her a pamper. Outdoor furniture that offers her a chance to relax is always well received as are tote bags and dreamy bath robes. Cricut machines are a huge trend right now and if she is the creative type, you will be absolutely on a winner if she unwraps one of these on Christmas morning.
Men can be difficult to shop for and some options could be wet/dry shavers, wireless headphones, grooming kits, an ottoman, or if you really want to spoil him head straight for the BBQ. Beach towels, cooler bags, bar carts and novel bottle openers are also options that aren’t often thought of.
If you’re feeling really stuck and just have no idea, head straight to the gift card option. Most importantly, have fun. This is the festive season after all.
